Our tech team has launched updates to The Nest today. As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

Ramblings this morning
How much of a schoolgirl am I? I woke up at 7, too excited to sleep more!
I need new friends lol. Or rather, maybe I just shouldn't try to entertain as I'm accustomed to while I'm in grad school with 22 yos who haven't officially had to grow up yet :P
The invitation I sent out was white with gold edges. Formal, right? I know! Because I figured this crowd wouldn't get the message, I had "cocktail attire" printed in teeny letters on the very bottom.
I got three, "uh, what's 'cocktail attire'?" 
I got one offer for the guest's grandmother's marshmallow-fruit fluff...because you just know that white & gold invitation says potluck gelatin salad. 
Yesterday, I got one, "yeah, I decided I'm going to the beach instead. See ya." and one, "oh, hey, so I haven't actually opened my mail in 17 days and I just saw the invite - I'm busy tomorrow night with another thing." 
BLER!! LOL
At least I know the couple I'm throwing the party for (IHO their wedding none of us could travel to) will be super thankful and pleased. 
Since I hired kitchen help and will be able to relax, I know I'll have a great time, regardless of the rest of the people who do or do not show up and are or are not wearing jeans!

Well it makes for an amusing story at least. The gelatin salad... well at least it was a nice gesture (I'm being positive here
).
I'm sure the guests of honor will appreciate the effort you've put into the party.
