Our tech team has launched updates to The Nest today. As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

Almost felt like a bride again today lol
So I got a call early in this week from some chick saying I was entered into something with A Perfect Wedding Guide, blah blah blah and me and six of my girlfriends get a pampering package and all this stuff....
So she gets my info sends me an email, and I'm not sure. She's a Mary Kay representative and the info she gave me still didn't really clue me in.
She said she doesn't know how she got my name since the wedding was over, but I should still come, I was one of 20 girls selected in the month of January so I still get the perks or whatever.
So my friends and I were like well...why not, it says we get a facial and stuff, so let's go, if it's lame we'll just leave.
My MoH and I went. There were two other brides there, one brought like five friends with her and the other brought one, just like me.
So it was a more "instructional" facial, like I gave myself a facial but they supplied their products and told us about each of them, etc. Then talked to us about what makes their company cool and what perks they get by being a consultant, etc. etc. Then you have the option to buy stuff, if you want it...which we didn't lol.
They did have some cool stuff but it was semi-expensive and I wasn't in the mood to throw down any cash.
But we got little goodie bags so that was cool.
So it wasn't a total waste of an hour and a half of my life, then we went and had brunch haha.

Glad you had fun. I never go and do those things, I don't trust them and hate when they get my info. My DH is rubbing off on me!
DH has been out all day, so I have had a quiet day at home, which is nice for a change. I went food shopping, baked a big batch of cupcakes for a family dinner tomorrow, did some laundry, and read. I should have made dinner, but I haven't started that yet and it's already almost 6. I think we'll go out!
