People who have been to Vegas?

I know there are some other people here who have been. Where did you eat? That seems to be the biggest thing I have trouble with while trapsing the strip. Also what shows did you see? I've seen KA and Believe. Looking for one that me and the Mr. would enjoy.

Re: People who have been to Vegas?

  • My husband proposed at the restaurant called Olives in the Bellagio, it is amazing!! We also had 2nd row seats for La Reve, its a water cirque de soleil show and it was spectacular! It is located in the Wynn hotel. I wish I could go back.

The way that we got 2nd row seats was by going to one of those booths that has special rate tickets 24 hrs before the show. They have these on the strip, but the best one to go to is in the huge mall on the 2nd floor. It's less crowded and we walked right up and ordered the tickets. That's where we got the 2nd row seats from! :)

Meet Moses, one of my many babies!

  • Never been but I am a sucker for the Girls Next Door so I would want to see the Holly Madison show that she has going on there.

  • We ate at a restaurant at The Luxor.  It was ah-mazing, but I can't remember the name.  We also ate at an asian restaurant at MGM that was super yummy but I can't remember that name either.  WOW I am so helpful huh?  We saw David Cooperfield....don't see David Copperfield.  I would love to see Blue Man Group.
  • I've only been twice driving through and nothing we did was that memorable.  DH went for his bachelor party and they ate at the places from the Vegas episode of Man vs. Food.

  • I sparkly-heart Vegas! I've been twice, the first time was when we got married there! With that laundry list of experience, I offer LOVE (Cirque) as my favorite show, and NYNY as my favorite hotel.  Denny's is the only place that took 30 minutes to get a seat for breakfast (hangovers, hangovers!) and despite the pull to wear pretty shoes the whole time, BRING SNEAKERS! You'll do more walking than you think!
