I so didn't feel like getting off the ouch today. But I managed to make PWs beef dip sandwhiches. they were yum!

I didn't do anything today, but I have plans for blueberry muffins for this week along with a chocolate cake. Brian is complaining and now that the house is a lot clean... I can focus on other things, though I think I may have more areas to purge.

We're in Napa. Been eating up a storm and no cooking. I think when we get home I won't want to cook for at least a week (mainly because I don't want to eat any more. Soooo stuffed. Haha).

Um, I did a lot just because I wanted to. However my wasteline doesn't need the cake I made along with everything else.

Last night I made a cake.

This morning I made blueberry muffins from scratch and they are awesome!

I made homemade mac and cheese for dinner and made bread to go with it. However I used the breadmaker for the bread.

I made a flourless chocolate cake for The Husband's birthday.  I undercooked it, and I'm really annoyed because it definitely looked done on top (overdone, in fact), and I'm trying to figure out how I could have determined when to take it out.  It's not like I can use the toothpick in the center, because flourless cake is so dense and fudgy anyway, the toothpick wouldn't have come out clean either way... hmmm.....

Not sharing the recipe.  It wasn't anything to sing about.  But if anyone has a *good* flourless chocolate cake recipe, I would happily take it!

Well, today I made Eggs Benedict for breakfast using prosciutto instead of ham. It was CRAZY easy. Like, it took me 10 minutes to make! For dinner, I made Slow Cooked Korean Style Short Rib Soup. Super tasty. I also made Bon Apetit's "best brownies ever". Not gonna lie. They are pretty awesome.

I made my usual lemon pie for dessert Saturday night. Turned out well.

I also tried a new veggie bolognese sauce and didn't really care for it  :-/

I thought about baking today but by the time I got around to it, it was almost 10 and that was too late...

i had people over for dinner so i made a roast pork loin w/ a balsamic vinegar reduction, baked polenta, and lemon greens beans.  i also baked an angel food cake, which we had w/ berries mixed in vanilla yogurt.  it was delish!
