So I get to present to high schoolers this coming week on my job as a photographer.
)) Pretty excited, I was asked to do it as part of their career program. It's a charter school, and I was nervous at first, but after designing my slides I'm feeling pretty good.
Feedback? I'm used to presenting to college students, so I tried to think about the high school mentality while creating the slides. I'll be doing mostly talking, the slides are there more as a guide. What do you think?

Note: When I was in high school we really didnt' use much of power point, so I don't know how high schoolers use it today haha.
Re: Feedback on presentation slides
Looks great. The only think I can think of is maybe doing a couple of comparison slides showing the students the different between, for example, a photojournalistic style and a portrait.
PS, I love your style!!
Looks good! How long are you presenting for though? Highschool students have the attenspan of first graders. If it's more than 15 min I'd definitely add a few slides of pictures that you can just click through to highlight your points. Not enough to distract them, but enough to keep them listening to you.
Or even maybe some extra shots at the end just for fun - some that can maybe just play while they're walking out just to show off your work.
Ditto. Otherwise, I think it looks great!
Thanks guys! All very good suggestions. I agree on putting in a slide showing the different equipment, and slides demonstrating the different styles.
