How Was Your Weekend?

Mine started off with a bang when my brothers arrived Friday night followed closely by a bunch of our friends.  Let's just say that I took my membership in Club Booze It Up 2011 very seriously!  And here is proof!  (There are more pics in my blog if you are interested)

As you probably guessed, Saturday was filled mainly with recovery and then CPA studying.  Sunday we went to an awesome church service and then more studying.  All in all, good weekend!

Re: How Was Your Weekend?

  • Looks like you had a good time! Unless someone can prove they got more wasted than you it looks like you could quite possibly be the spokesperson of CBIU ha My weekend was fantabulous, though it sadly involved no alcohol. We had out-of-town friends over Saturday for dinner then Sunday after church we had a meeting with our real estate agent to view a home. And we really like it!!!

  • This weekend was very good.  Farmers market and workout on Saturday followed by lots of cleaning/sorting of my old car stuff.  I LOVE getting rid of old crap!  Dh and I also went to the bank and then to Williams-Sonoma for his first time.  I couldn't believe it!  He got his brother a birthday gift (the Star wars pancake molds) and took after me--his bro's b-day isn't until April, but they were on sale, so he bought them!

We also tried a new place for lunch.  Don't you just hate it when you try some place new and it pretty much sucks?  Especially when you only budget to eat out twice a week?  Blech.  But, at least we know.  :)

Sunday, woke up feeling refreshed and went to church.  Then painted 1/2 of the blue stripes in our dining room--dh had done the top 1/2 a solid blue and I'm doing the bottom half blue stripes.  It will be one very blue room...but hopefully it will work and look good.  Friends came over, watched the football game, got pizza, did some laundry, and prepped the house a little for some out of town guests we're having at the end of the week.

It was a very productive weekend!!

  • Our weekend was great. DH's cousin & her husband, who are my favorite people in his family, came to visit. We went to the flea market and did a driving tour of downtown and stopped for a beer at one place and BBQ at another. Mainly we just hung out our place having drinks and watching our dogs wrestle.
  • Sounds like everyone had a great time this weekend!

Saturday was great and full of laughter. Also went to a friends house and watched a movie and played cards with them. Gotta love Canasta.

Sunday started out ok, but sucked ultimately. I got a call from my mom (which I knew she was going to call, but thought about something else). My grandfather passed away Sunday morning. So DH and I are headed down to ATL tomorrow to spend time with family.

I know I don't post on here too awfully much, but if you guys wouldn't mind thinking a slightly happy / uplifting thought for my family (mainly grandmother) and if you pray, that would be great too. I'd really appreciate it.

I hope everyone else has a wonderful week.

I promise that they are all me!  And hopefully I'm like wine and things are getting better with age! Wink
