Re: how was everyones weekend????
Our weekend wasn't fun, but my kids were very well behaved at my aunt's wake, funeral, and the Mercy Meal. I only heard compliments on how good they were.
Then church on Sunday, and home for the rest of the day. A peaceful, quiet day at home was just what we needed yesterday.
I had a very relaxing weekend as my weekends have been for the past few weeks.
Friday night, after work I met some people from work for some bowling, I didn't play because I got there late but still enjoyed the company. Then two of my friends and I went to LIV in North Providence for dinner and drinks.
Saturday, Jay and I stayed in all day/night. I left around 4pm to go do my weekly grocery shopping. Then made dinner and relaxed. Jay left for work around 10pm and I fell asleep watching The Blinde Side
Sunday, cooked for the week and relaxed. I took a trip to Old Navy for some tshirts for Jay that they had on sale for $6. Then snuggled on the couch with BOTH my dogs.
And now I am praying for a snow day this week so I can do some of the cleaning that I didn't do yesterday.
It was good. Not long enough, though. I ran 20 miles on Saturday morning (last really long run before my marathon ... bring it NOLA!) and then had a planning meeting for DH's family reunion in the summer. Somehow I got roped into reunion tasks, even though I am not a genetic member of the family. It's the non-genetic people who do all the work!
Sunday was a bunch of not much planned. Just what I needed.
