How was your weekend?

How was your weekend, ladies?! :)

Re: How was your weekend?

  • Friday night I went over to my parents and we had take-out from Doc's for dinner, and they helped me with part of a big mailing I was working on for Graham's Foundation.

Saturday I ran a few errands, dropped some things off at the GF office, did more with my photo editing program and cleaned up around the house.  Then my BFF came over and we worked for a few more hours on finishing up the GF mailing.  Then we ordered pizza, and DH's BFF came over.  He has never really played any drinking card games, so we taught him...  _Asshole, Cincinnati, F*ck You, Kings, Screw the Dealer and Suits.  Good times for sure. :):)

Sunday DH and I ran to Guitar Center for a pedal he wanted, and then had lunch.  The rest of the day was fairly lazy including a brief nap on the couch, watching football, and several rounds of Bananagrams. :)

  • Friday I worked in the evening, and then I worked from 11-6 on Saturday. After that we went out to dinner with one of Chase's friends and his fiance... that was interesting. He is 36 or 37 and she's almost 19. She's very sweet, but we were talking about card games and asking what she knew how to play because they were coming over after dinner to hang out... she says "I can play rummy, slap jack and war. Oh yeah and that one old person game that we played a few weeks ago. What was it called babe? Oh yeah, Texas Holdem."

Yesterday I worked for an hour and a half in the morning then we had people over for football. It was a sad day. No Dallas for us this year :(

  • Mine was ok. Friday- just lounged around after work. Saturday- hit the gym where I about died lol. Angi I don't know how you feel but I STILL feel like my arms are gonna fall off lol. I came home and did homework. I ended up having 2 dates sat night, 1 was kinda sorta planned, the other was def spur of the moment. I met the one for dinner and then met the other for drinks, but I will make that a totally different post. Sunday- I felt like death most of the day, but I ran to the mall to get a couple things, then went to a friends Tastefully Simple party, came home did a tiny bit of homework and was in bed asleep at like 8:45

  • Saturday was good - morning at Shamas to get my hair cut and a spa pedi (Mom went along with to get her hair cut and highlighted).  I went a little overboard at Destination Maternity after.  Then DH and I headed downtown for the Walleye game.  Dinner at Sidelines prior to the game - and that was a real disappointment this time.  The hockey game, however, turned out to be pretty darn good!  We went because it was military appreciation night (went with some of his army buddies).

Sunday was okay - worked a few hours then home to watch the game.  By the end of the game, my weekend was in the crapper.  Bring on baseball season!
