CAR

So, my scion xb was a total flop, I love the car, but HATED driving it. So, I've switched gears, 4 doors, smallish, and nice to drive. Any resonable recommendations, (bmw/mercedes are out).

TIA.

Re: CAR

  • We love our Hyundai Elantra.  They totally remodeled it in 2007 and it is a great little car.  We find it really comfortable, think it's really cute and like the drive.  You get more amenities for your money too compared to other cars in its class.
  • If you don't mind me asking how much did you pay for yours?

  • We've had two smaller cars (now we drive a minivan and a SUV - Sad)

I LOVED my Jetta. It was small enough to zoom around the city and big enough to pack it up and drive 12 hours to visit the ILs.  The only problem is that they are hit or miss with repairs.  I had very few problems (2001) but I know friends who have VWs with many issues.

We also had a Civic.  L drove that thing into the ground.  Hondas are known for their reliability (we bought a Honda minivan) and their longevity.  It was fun to drive and when we replace L's SUV, we'll get another Civic (now that we don't have to haul around a double stroller!)

  • we're honda girls all the way. we have three of them, including c's motorcycle. we love them and wouldn't get anything else. they're dependable, comfortable, fun to drive, and they're roomier than you might think (the trunk space in the civic is huge). the new accord is supposed to be amazing. i haven't been in one, but c has and loved it. it's a little on the pricier side, though. the civic is cheaper and also a great car.
  • I really like the Altima.
I write sexy books. I read all the books. I love dresses & macarons.
