For those of you who've read Outlander, do you think it's the type of book that translates well to audio? I'm going to Clemson this week and I always get an audiobook for the trip. I was thinking of trying out Outlander but I'm concerned that it may be too detailed to listen to while driving. I tend to stick with fluff (like the LJ Smith Night World series) when I travel.
Also, DH waited on a woman the other night who was reading a Jacqueline Carey book (my fave author) and he mentioned I like her as well. The woman then recommended that I try out Jim Butcher. If I don't do Outlander, I may try one of his out. Have any of you read his stuff?
Re: another s/o: HP and book series
I'm the wrong person to ask. I'm not an audio learner and have never tried audio books as I'm afraid I'd get too distracted and have to keep rewinding to catch what I've missed.
Oh good! Unfortunately the library only has them in e-reader format, not iPod. I'll have to wait and get the CDs for another trip since I don't have the time to run to the library before this one.
