OB/GYN recos in Cary/Morrisville area?

Hi all,

Wondering if you have a recommendation for an OB/GYN in the cary/morrisville area. New to cary and looking for a new dr. I'm covered under BCBS if that helps.

Thanks in advance!

Re: OB/GYN recos in Cary/Morrisville area?

  • I go to Dr Maydew at Cary OB/GYN.  They're near Tryon and Kildaire Farms (close to WakeMed Cary).  I really like her.  I'm going to start rotating through the doctors (that's how they handle OB patients), so I'll let you know how everyone else is :)

  • I go to Mid Carolina OBGYN.  Their office is at Rex Hospital on Lake Boone Trail in Raleigh.  I live in Cary and it takes me about 10 minutes to get there from where I live.

I see Dr. Teasley and I love her.  If/When I finally become pregnant I will switch to another doctor in the practice because she does only Gyn care.

  • I also go to Mid Carolina & have always had positive experiences with Dr Teasley.  But I have heard a LOT of negative things about the practice in general especially the OB section so I plan to switch very soon.

Really?  I've only heard positive things.  What have you heard?  Since I hope to be pregnant soon that concerns me.
