who's having a Superbowl party?
i'm thinking about it. i want to. i love a nice casual party with laid back snacks, beer and good friends. no fuss, but still fun!
i'm a little nervous about having it at our place though. DH is a Steelers guy and he can be a little obnoxious and loud if the game isn't going his way.
Re: who's having a Superbowl party?
We are. I haven't planned a menu yet. Probably just easy "football food" - pizza, wings, chips & dip, etc.
Our friends traditionally have a Super Bowl party at their house, but because they both have to work earlier that day, they asked if the party could be moved to our house this year. So I agreed. Before I knew which teams were in it.
Now, at least half the guests are disappointed (more like angry, actually) about the teams in the game and don't even want to watch. Honestly, I usually love entertaining, but this time, I wish I could actually cancel out and skip it. My H, a huge football fan, doesn't even want to watch the game because he hates the Packers so much. There are a few Packers fans in the group, but mostly Vikings fans who are NOT pleased about the Pack being in the Super Bowl.
