Have you been keeping your resolutions?

So we are 24 days into the new year and I was curious on how well us ladies have done keeping our resolutions.

I kept one of my resolutions pretty faithfully everyday for the first 8 days and then it started to waver.  I have been working on trying to keep it as much as possible everyday.  My other resolution I have yet to start.  How about you ladies?

Re: Have you been keeping your resolutions?

  • I've been doing well...mine was to improve my health. I had a slip up last week, but overall we've been eating at home, making good food, and even exercising regularly.

  • I'm doing okay.  Trying not to spend money on stuff I really don't need.  I can't say I've been perfect, but definitely better.

  • I didn't set resolutions so much as goals. The one thing I vowed to do was look presentable everytime I left the house, which I've stuck to. Like, nice hair, nice makeup, no sweats... just nice looking.

And my goals were to read more, exercise more and cook more, which I've been doing.

  • so far 24 days in, I'm doing okay, mine was to eat more at home  and eat more leftovers...which i despise on so many levels. but so far were doing Good Just hope i can make it lol

  • My biggest goal is that since I paid off my CC's with my first 2011 paycheck, I wanted to actually follow my budget and stick with it.  So far so good.  I used over half of my spending money on my last check to update my makeup, but I still have $34 in my checking account and payday is Friday, so yay!

Otherwise, I haven't been eating as many daily servings of veggies as I want to/should.

I have been going to the gym 3x's a week, but I want to get it up to 4.

And always wanted to make of an effort to "boof" w/DH, but I'm always miserably tired at the end of the night.

  • I hate making resolutions. So my goals this year was to: Do tons of work on the house, adopt a dog, and read 50 books.

So far so good. We don't have a dog yet since I want the kitchen to be finished before we even start looking. That should be remodeled by mid-February.

  • I don't make resolutions because they get broken, but I have set goals.  One was to buy a house.  We met with a mortgage broker last night and have appointments on Thursday and Saturday to look.

My other goal is to get pregnant.  We're trying :)

  • One of mine was to try at least one new recipe every week, so far I've made at least 2 per week.  I also wanted to lose weight, and so far I'm doing pretty well-except I went back up this week but by less than a pound.

  • Mine was a goal to lose a little weight and watch what I eat. So far I have lost what I gained post wedding during all the hoidays. My goal is only a couple of pounds more anyway.
