Did you end up giving Harlie rice cereal this weekend? How did it go?
We have been giving AJ cereal every other day. I think in another week or 2 we will switch to the oatmeal.
It hasn't affected his sleep at all, but he has been a great sleeper anyways (wakes up between 6-7:30am).

We have been giving her oatmeal daily since Saturday--the first 2 days she ate it but didn't seem to really show any signs of liking or disliking it. I used a tsp of dry cereal plus water--(we used water since we are not trying to add additional calories). She ate about 1/4 of what I made and then lost interest. At school yesterday she ate ALL of it and they said she seemed to like it and I sent the same amount so I guess she's liking it more. They used 1/2 the amount of water that I did so it may be that she doesn't like it runny like I made it or that she's getting more used to it. Today I sent a drop more dry cereal than I did the day before as I don't want to overwhelm her tummy with too much fiber all at once.
We haven't seen any change in sleep but she's also a good sleeper (7:15 pm-6:30 am). I had heard that it's a myth that solids affect sleep anyway.
Our plan is to add a new food every Saturday morning so that she has 2 days of it before she eats it at school so if there's an allergic reaction we'll see it first.
