Has anyone been? Would you recommend it?

Since today's Groupon is for there ($20 for $40 in service, and you can buy 2) I am toying with the idea.

I've been there a bunch of times, and would totally recommend it. If you're nervous about doing anything with your hair (you shouldn't be, but I would understand), you can get spa services done there too, like facials and pedicures. My current hair color/highlights is from my last Aveda Groupon, and I pretty much told the girl to be creative. What I ended up with is nothing that I would have dared to do on my own due to the cost at my regular salon, but I love it!

I love it.  It's where I went at MSU and it's where I go now.  I've had some issues that had to be corrected, but they are always very nice and that's only happened maybe 2 times in the, oh, 20 + times I've gone.  They were color fixes - apparently my top/front processes faster so it got a touch too Barbie blonde for me on occassion and they just put in a toner - not a big deal at all.

You can tell when you get a newbie and when you get someone at the end of their studies, but they're always nice and easy to work with.

I got a facial there once and it was really nice.  I would go again.

Definitely buy one!  I used to go to the one in East Lansing all the time, and have been to the one in GR once.  I personally don't get my hair done at them anymore (I used to when I was in college), b/c I don't want to be there for three hours - they can be very slow.  However, I love going for facials and spa services.  Very nice!

All I have to say is I LOVE IT! 

I like that the girl's are usually a bit younger and willing to get a little funky with your hair if it's what you want. 

I went in about a month ago and had my blonde hair (part natural/majority highlighted) peek a boo colored with a beautiful auburn red.  So the entire underneath layer of my hair is red, the majority top/sides etc is blonde, and my bangs had 6 foils of red put in them.  I got all this done for $35.00! I had toyed with the idea to my "regular" lady when I had my done in December and she actually talked me out of it and that visit cost me almost $100 w/tip.  I don't think I'll ever go back to a regular stylist again the prices are great, the girl's are usually friendly, and they do a fantastic job

I got my nails done there and it was very nice.  I agree and have heard from others that it can take longer than normal..

Oh yeah!  I saw this on groupon today and I'm totally excited.  Their pedis are okay.  However, I've gotten the facial and and stress relieving treatments which are very similar but are pretty much full-body massages.  They are heavenly!
