Was the hotel you stayed at right on the strip? I really want to go and the price is great considering I have to bring my dog. Most places want to charge $50/night for him.

It wasn't exactly on the strip but totally within walking distance. Do you know where the Fashion Show Mall is? It's right across the street, which is on the strip. There are shuttles from the Trump Towers every 15 minutes to the Wynn and Caesars Palace.
If I had to guess it's about 0.1 or less miles off the strip. Totally walking distance to the Wynn. We walked to the Wynn a few times with the baby, stroller, and shopping bags. It wasn't an issue at all! Plus I liked that the hotel had a little less hustle and bustle than the other hotels, especially with a kid!
Next time we go to Vegas, we are totally going to stay there again. Even with not being directly on the strip, it was worth every penny. Personally I thought the room was MUCH nicer than any room I have stayed in at the Wynn, Caesars Palace or the Bellagio!
