Baton Rouge Nesties
Dear Community,

Our tech team has launched updates to The Nest today. As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

If you have questions about this, please email help@theknot.com.

Thank you.

Note: This only affects The Nest's community members and will not affect members on The Bump or The Knot.

Had a c-section or want a VBAC?

I posted this on the Baton Rouge Baby board, but it seems to be kinda dead over there.

ICAN of Baton Rouge is back, and we're looking for volunteers or people who want to join that are interested in learning about preventing unnecessary cesareans,  providing or receiving support after a cesarean, and promoting VBAC

Right now we're just trying to get the group off the ground and looking for moms or moms to be who would be interested in getting together once a month for support groups and discussions.

If you have any questions, you can PM me or page me on the bump VBAC board.

Here is our facebook page:

and our local website should be up and running soon.  you can check out www.ican-online.org for more info in the mean time!

Re: Had a c-section or want a VBAC?

  • This is great! Good luck. I know several friends who have gotten lots of support from Ican.
Warning No formatter is installed for the format bbhtml
  • This is awesome! I didn't even know such a group existed. I would definitely love the support and help whenever I get pregnant again. I am wanting to have a VBAC when we have #2.
