Weather Check from a S Florida Nestie

We have had some balmy days/nights down in south Florida and I am heading up with my DS to spend Thursday and Friday at Sea World and not sure how to prepare. I plan on having him in long sleeve shirts/jeans with a sweater if it gets chilly. Is it sunny enough to get away with that during the day? Does he need a heavier coat at night?

Re: Weather Check from a S Florida Nestie

  • It's been so inconsistent here over the last few weeks. Some days are nice and warm, and then others are chilly. This morning was definitely cold (although all my friends back up north woke up to over a foot of snow this morning so I can't really call this "cold") but it's supposed to warm up throughout the day. I'd definitely just pack layers so that you can take off the jacket or fleece when it's warmer out during the day and you're in the sun but are warm enough first thing in the morning and then in the evening. HTH!
