What are your favorite games?
My husband and I love to play games! Board games, card games, video games...we love it all! So share with me some of your favorite games so we can add to our collection

Re: What are your favorite games?
Jason and I really like playing Wii together. One of our favorite games to play together is Wii Sports Resort. We also download old school video games on our Wii which we have a lot of fun with.
As far as other games, we like Buzz Word, Apples to Apples, and Scattergories. We recently played Balderdash and that was super fun.
How do you download games on wii?
You first have to connect your Wii to the internet. This is super easy if you have a wireless router. I don't remember exactly how to do it, but I'm sure there are directions online or on the wii somewhere.
When you first turn on your wii, one of the little squares will say Shop or something like that (I can't check exactly what it says b/c Jason's watching the Wizards game and would kill me if I changed it lol). You just go in there and there's a game section. You have to buy 'coins' in order to download the games. You just enter your credit card info using the Wiimote. I think we put like $20 in and ended up buying 3 games with it. Once you purchase them, they are on your Wii forever.
Party games we like are Balderdash and Taboo (my favorite) and poker.
When its just the two of us we play CoD: Black Ops (I only play the zombie levels), scrabble, or blackjack.
We like to play Scrabble Slam (its a card game), its pretty fun for two players. I love to play board games, but Ken doesn't really like to unless there are more than 2 players (which is usually more fun).
Other games I like: Clue, Scattergories
We also like Skip-Bo, Uno, Yahtzee, Scrabble.
Its funny you posted this because I was going to the other night and totally went to bed instead!
With a small group, the game Blind Ignorance is a blast! It's basically a headband and a deck of cards with 'famous' people on them. One person uses the headband to 'stick' a card to their forhead, so they don't know "who they are" - then they ask questions to the other people to figure it out (like Mickey Mouse, Cleopatra, Clint Eastwood, etc).
Apples to Apples is also a blast with a group, but if its just the two of us, Scrabble and Mancala are some of our favorites
Funny, we just started playing games together again, FINALLY!
We play pool, darts, chess, cards, we play a ton of games on the iPad now too. In groups, our fav is taboo!
