Pensacola ladies...
One of my really good friends and her DH are moving to P'cla. He is already there after getting a teaching position at Pensacola State. They are looking for a place to rent and I was hoping you could give me the names of a few good areas for them to look at. I know she mentioned that she wanted to live closer to I-10 (her job will be in mobile) and she also mentioned something about near the airport?? Any suggestions of neighborhoods they should take a look at?

ETA: PSC is right down the street from the Airport so that would be an easy part of town to live for him. It's not too far from the interstate either.
I agree with pp. Those are good options. I'm assuming she requested the airport area b/c it's close to PSC? If they're willing to budge on that....The Pine Forest/Nine Mile area may be a good option. There are 2 I-10 ramps near that area and they're the closest to the Alabama line. This would give the PSC employee about a 15-20 min drive and the Mobile employee a much more convenient drive. We are slightly north of 9 Mile (in Cantonment, not Pensacola...but close enough for argument's sake!) and DH drives to Daphne, AL every day which is alllmost to Mobile. It takes him about 45 min.
