Should we try moving somewhere else again? It would be nice to be on a board that's actually listed somewhere on the website.

I was just thinking that it would be fun to be in a place people visited on a semi-regular basis.

I change my mind on this daily. Some days I'm content to bask in the sisterhood and relative privacy of our warm waters, and some days I really wish for some good old fashioned wrastlin', internet style.

If the ML experiment is any indication, most of us are too nice or too lazy to sustain any long time term conflict these days. Let's step up our game people!

I don't have this bookmarked on our home computer (because we have a Mac and I am afraid of it).  I always have to go through "My Posts" to get here because I am not smart enough to be able to find the board any other way.

Between Tamb's TTC and the OOTD posts, I don't think I can do ML anymore.

I can barely make it here. if we moved somewhere that moved more, i fear I will waste away. But I am willing to sacrifice myself for the good of the board.

I'm too lazy to sustain a dual relationship with two boards, which is why I failed the ML experiment. And because their cast of regulars is so large that I just had a hard time caring about all their posts.

If we moved to another board, like, say, Gadgets & Technology or something (isn't that what Groomz proposed so long ago?), we might just get some new people and be able to more easily cross-pollinate with the other nationsl boards.

Yeah, the logical step would be to fully join ML.  But, I don't think I have it in me.  It moves too fast with all of the new posts for every new thought, and it has the conflict of old AFSBNEY.  I just think I am too old and sensitive for that.

Didn't we try this before and the Nest bannished us back to the Caribbean?  With all of the drama happening everywhere else, I don't understand why we even register with them.  We have sooooo lost the edge.

Yeah, I know that's how we ended up here. We've been here for awhile though and I thought maybe if we tried another place the reaction from the Nest Gods might be different.

If the choice is between staying here and moving to ML, I would stay here.

I actually like the OOTD posts because I like to see what people are wearing, but things sure went from "We'll be brutally honest with each other!" to "Don't criticize my outfit unless you post your own!" pretty quickly.
I just wish we could collect the MLers we enjoy and leave the rest -- there's so many regulars.  It's like old skool NEY.  I could never deal with how damn many of you there were so I hardly lurked.

If we do move, we need to find a board without a ton of regulars.  My brain can't take it.  I'm fragile.

Ditto that. I'm just going to come out and say that in general that board is so irritating and tedious. There are people I like and threads I enjoy, but most days it is not worth the piles of self indulgent sh*t you have to sift through to find good stuff. Plus the deleting and the fact that so many crazy regs seem to wear the vest drives me insane.

Yeah, I think our problem last time was moving to a place with a very established group of regulars. I think we also need to be a bit more subtle and not call it a take over when we first get there. The entertainment folks were just so whiny about it.

Entertainment just seems like a good fit, but Relationships might attract some fun.

I was just thinking about this last night too! I agree. No board with an entrenched group of regulars.

Let's test drive both boards and see what we like.

I like certain aspects of ML (like OOTD obviously) but other things make me want to gouge my own eyes out.  I can't go there full time or you'll find me rocking in a corner stabbing a picture of Tamb.

Howsabout tomorrow we just show up and post things we would normally post here on Relationships and see how that goes. If that doesn't work out, we can come back here, lay low for a bit, then try Entertainment?

So, we really want to fukc the girl with the nice rack and pretty face (Entertainment), but we're desperate to get laid, so we're going to hook up with the homely girl with frizzy hair first (Relationships) before moving onto our more desirable conquest?

I don't know much about either board, honestly. I just thought there was more interest in Relationships than Entertainment. I'm fine with starting with either one.

This whole time I was thinking of Entertaining Ideas.  And kind of wondering WTF we would want the kind of drive bys that would come looking for tablescape ideas.  We can only suggest Faces in Strange Places so many times.

Relationships will get more interesting action by far, but the problem is that it's already staked out pretty well by the TIP crew.  It'll be interesting to see how it all plays out.
