I'm hosting a Jack and Jill shower for my brother and FSIL. I'm ordering invites from wedding paper divas (sister company to tinyprints), so I dont have total control of layout, etc.
Adding my brother and FSIL's last names makes it look like crap--just much too crowded. It's ok to just have "Marc and Meg", right? I mean, if you're invited to the wedding, have received a save the date, etc., you should know who the hell I'm talking about...
Orrrrr, am I just trying to convince myself that it's ok to leave the last names out because it looks better w/o them?

Re: Invite Q.
I used tinyprints corporate* for the party this past weekend and it had a spot where I could tell customer service how to rearrange things. I had them do a couple big changes because the layout thing wouldn't let me and customer service got it right on the first try. They emailed me a proof and I approved it and it shipped the next morning.
*I have no corporate affiliation. I just found the invite over on the corporate side of the site. Maybe customer service was free with corporate and you have to pay with the other sister sites? Their prices are so reasonable, though, that I'd be willing to pay extra for them to fix it.
To answer your direct question, I think it's fine to have Marc and Meg on there.
