the mother on Toddlers & Tiaras who specifically said she only had a daughter so she could put her in pageants? omg what a hot mess.

this show gives me so many wonderful gems of insanity for my week...it's amazing. like a trainwreck every wednesday night

I could only take one episode of this show.  They are insane about their pageants and it's scary to see what lengths the moms/dads go to for their child to compete. 

Anyone else wonder how some of these creatures ever produced such beautiful kids?  Seriously, some of these parents look downright scary yet their kids are gorgeous.

i'm more in shock that these women found men to marry them! and that these guys allow this craziness to go on! H would KILL me if i attempted all of this. he pretty much things it's child abuse. i dont go quite that far....but i do think some of these moms are nutso. speficially the one that only had a child so she could win pageants. i mean...wha??

Oh man! I havent watch T&T in a while. I've been on a Little Miss Perfect kick. One of my mom's friends announced on FB that her daughter (9) has convinced her to let her compete in a pageant. So I asked her if they have ever watched one of those shows. She said her daughter watches it all the time and thats where she came up with the idea?! I'm perplexed by this b/c I dont think in a single episode any of those kids look like they are having fun. There is always at least one tantrum on pageant day!!

I have only seen a couple episodes here or there, but it's like a train wreck that I just can't look away from. I hate it, but I know there's this girl in our church group who thinks it is absolutely ludicrous (which...it is) so I am practicing a straight face so I can tell her that I want the baby to be a girl so she can be on T&T. I can't say it w/ a straight face at this point though...;) Should be funny.
