need 50th birthday gift ideas
My step-mom is turning 50 in March. I'd like to get her something special because we have always been close. My bio-mom and I are not close, so she's really who I consider my mom.
So what would you get for your mother for her 50th birthday? I'd say no more than $200 unless it's awesome. TIA

Maybe you could get her something with your birthstone in it, or something you can have engraved.
Could you throw her a surprise party? Even if it's just a few family member and close friends, that would be special.
I would probably pay for a photo session with a photographer to have a family photo made of all of you together. Get her a gift certificate to a nice frame shop, tell her you'll pay for a certain size photo and she can go get it framed. I would LOVE something like that, and so would my mom, grandma, etc.
