Updated: My Fur-Brother is sick :(

So my Mom adopted a basset hound when I was about 15, his name is Jasper and we love him. For those of you that read my blog you may have seen him there. The past 2 days after he went for his monthly grooming appointment he hasn't been himself. The groomer said he started acting strange after his bath. He hasn't eaten, hasn't gone to the bathroom, and hasn't made a sound since.

Our excellent vet is keeping him over night and running some tests plus giving him IV fluids to try and figure out what's going on. Any doggy dust you want to share with Jasper will be greatly appreciated!

Update: Just got off the phone with my brother. They found a mass on his spleen and he had some infections. The bloodwork came back positive for cancer. My Mom has decided that she will have him put down later today. Thanks for all of the good thoughts ladies, we're pretty heart broken.

Thanks ladies! He's one of three dogs that I've had in my life more than a few months so it's really hard to have him with an unknown illness! He's generally really healthy so it has us worried. My Mom thinks he could have a broken rib or one that is hurt at least. We'll see. We appreciate all the TD&P!

Thanks everyone. We're all pretty torn up. I feel worst for my Mom. She lost her sister in December, now her dog, and none of us live close enough to home anymore that we were able to go with her. Just stinks.
