American Idol
Who watched last night? Did you happen to catch the end of the show (final contestant)? I balled and sobbed my eyes out over him, when he brought his fiancee in to meet the judges. After seeing that I told myself I'd never complain about a headache or a stuffy nose or a stomach acid episode again.
About 6 years ago one of the tellers at our work came over to our building to work in the accounting dept. He was engaged too, and his fiancee endured the same fate - she was in a serious car accident a few months before their wedding and was in a coma for a long time. They had to put the wedding off and he left the bank shortly after that so we never knew what happened after that.
Both of the people who begged to be put through were not that great and didn't deserve a shot, IMO (the 15 year old who J Lo said no to, and the Aerosmith groupie). White House intern, the mother of 2 with the colorful outfit, the deep voiced kid, the student teacher and the day care guy were some of my favorites. And I had to especially laugh when the one girl taht got turned down said "it's because I'm not skinny like those other girls, right?" Psycho!!
