Cute, cheap shower locations?
I have a friend getting married and I need to find a place to hold a shower. Anyone ever hold a shower at a restaurant or something? The hostess is out of town, so I'm her scout. I already have her looking at Trish's Teas.
There will be 20 of us, and hostess doesn't want to spend too too much. Bride is into all things natural/well-living, etc.
Ideas? Thanks ladies!!!
In the end, only kindness matters...

Re: Cute, cheap shower locations?
The Grand Floridian has a tea room thats super cute and fun for a girl's day out... I'm not sure about the price or how much you are looking to spend, but its really yummy and would be very special. It's probably too much though.
Lots of places have meeting rooms- Panera's have them (probably not what you are looking for, but just an FYI).... you could also find a community house or club house in a neighborhood ?
Something that may be of interest (depending on the number of people). The Russel Home in Orlando, which is a home for disabled children and adults, has a tea room that they open to the public as a fundraiser.

However i think there is only room for up to 15 people.
My sister and mom just threw me a baby shower at Trish's Teas this past Sunday. It was wonderful and the food was great. Everyone had a great time.
I think my mom said it was $15/pp. Definitly worth it though. If you need the room for more than 2 hours there is an additional charge. I wouldn't recommend more than 20 people. There were 20 of us and it was a little cramped.
It was great! I think it would be a great place for a bridal shower too. But like Debi said - you don't want more than 20 people.
The room is very nice and the food was really good. Who would have thought cucumber and dill would have made an awesome sandwich? The service was great too.
It was a great place for a shower. ?Like they said, the room was a little cramped with all the people, tables and presents but it was a great place to have a "girly" day.
And the food was really good. ?We were starving and it was just enough. ??
