I came into the office today around 930, and there was NO ONE here- not even in the other offices! I though maybe my office had declared a snow day, and just not told me, but I figured since I was already here, I might as well log some hours in a nice quiet office. I kind of felt like Kevin in Home Alone, and was tempted to run around in my socks, drink a bunch of (decaf) coffee and lay on the floor, but sadly the rest of the office decided to come in about 10 minutes ago and spoil my fun. Boo. At least I got a little while to myself, and hopefully the rest of the day will pass quickly. Anyone else on snow day today (Darcie, I'm lookin' at you!)?

Re: Dang!
I know the feeling! We have the option of a 2-hour delay, unscheduled leave or telework. I was going to telework anyhow but it's been quiet. The only call I've had is from a colleague in the Chicago office and only a couple of e-mails. I think we're all teleworking and trying to get stuff done on our own. It's rather luxurious, especially after the drama I had to deal with yesterday.
Sorry the rest of the office had to spoil your fun! Grrr.
