Sunshine Jones was $300 for the total event ($30pp if we got 10 - which I think is doable), but she was not available the weekend we decided. 

Does any other weekend in March or April work for everyone?

Is this going to be just to show us what to do or is it one of those things where we'll be expected to buy something? Hope that doesn't sound biitchy, just want to know what it is exactly.

No, no problem.  I had the same question.  We're not expected to buy anything.  We would all bring our own makeup and she would bring hers to use on us so we know what to buy if we like a certain look is my understanding.  Here's the email:

There are a couple of different ways to work the party as well as far as pricing. I could do a per person fee which includes a makeup kit (will customize for you based on your price range) of my private label products, or it could be just instructional, everyone brings their own makeup bag (fun to do either way) and the fee would be $150 per hour that way.

Yes I would plan on $300 total for the whole event, not per person. $150/hr for two hours is what I usually do. I believe in getting paid fairly for my knowledge and experience but $100 per person is ridiculous. I do charge that for private sessions but for a group that seems excessive. Sometimes I do a $99 per person class but for that you receive no only the instruction but a makeup kit worth at least that.
