I am throwing a baby shower for my BF next month, and I was thinking of doing cupcakes for dessert. So the big question is - where do I get them from? I'm up for any and all suggestions (and if I must taste test, I must, right?)
Re: Let's talk cupcakes =)
My friend makes awesome cupcakes and made these for me for a baby shower I hosted last spring. She is local to the triangle and you can find her at: http://www.facebook.com/sweetflamingo HTH!
Do you recall what flavors were offered? And any idea on price per cupcake?
My friend makes amazing cupcakes. As in...we had them at Bible study on Tuesday and as soon as they were opened we swarmed the table and they were gone in under 2 minutes. She'll make pretty much any flavor imaginable. I paid $20 for a dozen. She does have a full-time job, so she needs a little bit of notice, but it doesn't take her long.

they deliver. I have recvd rave reviews, and I love them
WOW! Those are ADORABLE!
She offers about 30 different flavors. They are all so good! She also did DS's 1st birthday cake. It was chocolate covered strawberry flavored. I am not sure on price per cupcake. I can't remember. But they were chocolate and had a filling, and buttercream frosting. They were delicious!
I do not recommend the Cupcake Shoppe. We had them for my baby shower and they were ok-we didn't really like them and then my crazy MIL got us a $50 gift card (which got us a dozen and a half) for Christmas and they were dry and disgusting. ick!! I make better, softer, tastier cupcakes from a box at home!
sorry just wanted to forewarn you.
