Sandbridge VA Beach help?
Hi,
I posted this on Travel too...We are looking at beach houses in the Sandbridge area of VA Beach and I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions as to where to avoid in that area. A few of the houses we are considering have views of the bay and are a "short walk to the beach." We've never been to this area before and really don't know what would be best. Appreciate any help! Thanks!

Everywhere in Sandbridge is safe and beautiful
We have stayed at a friends house on Back Bay - it was no more than a 5-minute walk which I think is true anywhere. You shouldn't have to walk farther than that because of the layout of the land.. long and thin!
Tote a wagon with all of your beach essentials, snacks and drinks to pull with you and your set for the day!

Sandbridge is actually one of the few areas that I am comfortable saying you really can't fail in choosing where to stay. It's a really small area and as sunflower mentioned, long and thin. A 5 min. walk to the beach is an accurate measure. I second the suggestion for a beach wagon just to make the walk easier unless you don't plan on bringing anything more than a towel, sunscreen and a water bottle.
