Thinking of Thomas Robinson today..
If you haven't heard already, his mother, who was 37,died last Friday. His 9 year old sister had to make the phone call at 11 pm to tell him, because his grandpa died just a week ago and his grandmother 2 weeks before that. The entire KU team stayed with him in his apartment in the morning, the day they lost to Texas.
His mother's funeral was today. Now it is just him and his 9 year old sister. Luckily, the NCAA is allowing the KU Athletics department to pay for the funeral, as well as fly the entire team to D.C. for the funeral, then back to Lawrence for the KState game Saturday.
Rough times for this kid. He hasn't been playing the same since his grandmother's passing.

Actually, his sister is 7 and his mom was 43.
Colorado respectfully had a moment of silence for his mom before the game there on Tuesday.
