T&Ps for DH please...
...he's going in for hernia repair surgery tomorrow (today, Friday, by time most of you read this) at 9 am. It's apparently not a complicated surgery, but I'm still nervous... will be glad when it's all over! He's had the hernia for a while, and it hasn't bothered him, but we thought it best to take care of it before the baby comes.

Tons of vibes for DH!!
Good idea doing it before the baby A so you don't have 2 babies to care for and B so it doesn't get worse when he starts lifting baby and car seat and diaper bag and stroller and all the other heavy baby gear!
Ditto this!! Lots of vibes for DH to have a smooth procedure and fast healing!

Tons of T&Ps to you and your DH (especially him)!
Back in June, my DH had a hernia repaired. He had noticed a pull every now and then since Jan., but didn't want me to worry about him because of the wedding and all that. Well, by the time he did bring it up to me (about two weeks after the wedding), you could actually see the hernia. I was the nervous person constantly walking the floor (I probably would have been worse if it wasn't for the fact that his dad and my mom were there). Everything went fine. He did have a lot of pain for about 4 days afterwards. Keep a close eye for infection. I made DH a light lunch and he was talking about playing games the rest of the afternoon. Please talk your DH to take a nap after eating....the body needs it! DH had his surgery on Friday and went back to work on Tuesday...by Wednesday night, he was walking and moving like he never had surgery.
Oh and good luck making sure he does everything the doctor says! So don't baby him too much!
