Today I decided to stop taking BC. DH wants a baby yesterday, but I'm the practical one and wanted to wait until July when my car is paid off. Then today I started thinking about how many people try for years before they get pregnant. I realized that it is super naive of me to think that I would get pregnant right away, especially since I'm 34. So no more BC for me. If we are lucky enough to have a BFP right away then we'll figure out the finance thing, and if it takes us a while then at least we started sooner rather than later. Right? So we aren't really TTC, but we are officially not doing anything to prevent it. (And I'm kind of excited about that.)
Re: More preggers talk
Erin that's so exciting! I agree with Montana. Y'all are going to make some damn cute babies. So happy for you.

Yay! All this baby talk is NOT helping my baby fever! LOL
We finally decided on a date to start trying as well and I CANNOT wait! GL to you! Can't wait to hear about the BFP

Apparently I read this and never replied earlier. I'm sorry!
Best of luck to you!!! I'm figuring out that you'll have to figure out the finance thing no matter how prepared you think you are, so even if it happens sooner than you think (don't be shocked if it does!), it will be a total blessing! I'm glad you're prepared for anything...

I just realized how annoying my last message was. My biggest pet peeve right now is the number of people that know everything about being pregnant and having a baby and want to constantly share all of that "knowledge" with me. And the "are you ready to never have your house look like this again?" and "get your sleep while you can!" comments. Ugh. I'm sorry.
So revising - GOOD LUCK!!!

Man, I never got to read your (so called) annoying message, because you revised it first. Now I want to know what you said. :-)
Thanks, everyone! It's kind of liberating to be at the point where we are not worried about it either way. And I have to admit, taking one less pill a day is not bad either.
I know different doctors seem to take different viewpoints on this, but we are also hoping to concieve around July and my doctor told me that we should use other protection for 3 months after going off the pill to get the hormones out of my system...That being said I have friends who have gotten pregnant the first month off the pill and had healthy babies...
So by April we'll be going off the pill but sooner if I forget to go get another pack during my pharmacy's annoying hours...Good luck!
Seriously though, you're going to have ADORABLE kids!
