Totally PINK first birthday party - Food ideas
I am looking for some pink dessert ideas for a pink themed birthday party. Also looking for suggestions on how to tint frosting pink without using food coloring.

Thinking of doing cosmetic updates to a dated home? These were our costs.
I think you can use beet juice as food coloring.
Also you can also do a whipped cream frosting made by blending strawberries with whipping cream. It's delicious too.
Some other ideas:
Chocolate covered pretzels dipped in sprinkles (I like the dot sprinkles, I don't think that's what they're called, but hopefully you know what I mean). You could cover the pretzels in white or dark chocolate and dip in pink sprinkles, or you can dip them in pink chocolate (found at craft stores) and dip them in white sprinkles.
Strawberry or raspberry mousse
Strawberry parfaits
Cupcakes
Sugar cookies with pink icing
Chocolate truffles with pink sugar crystals dusted on top or even pink sugar flowers (you should be able to get these from a local bakery).
Assortment of candies - pink M&Ms, sour patch watermelon candy, rock candy
