Which dress should I buy? (clicky poll)
For Christmas, my MIL & FIL got me a gift card to VS. I think that's an odd gift to receive from them, but whatever. I think I'm going to use it to by a dress. I want something casual that I can wear in the summer. Which one should I get? (Don't mind the colors, just consider the dresses themselves.)
Crossover:

Beach:

Colorblock:

V-neck:

Re: Which dress should I buy? (clicky poll)
Wop, go for it. I'm open to honest opinions. And I've got some concerns about a couple of these dresses (er... my body) too, so you might be thinking what I'm thinking.
That is very interesting, because I was thinking that the crossover would fit my bust area the worse -- I'm afraid I wouldn't be able to fill it in and it would be kind of... baggy.
I thought the fourth one (v-neck) might fit me the best because it's a more fitted v-neck.
*sigh* If only the boobs came with the dresses.
ETA: Okay, now that I look at it again, the fourth (v-neck) may be too deep of a V for me. The same for the second one. Gah! Screw VS!
I was going to warn you that VS clothes tend to be even more low cut IRL then they appear online.
Why not wait to use it on a swimsuit this summer? They usually have some super cute stuff!
Or you could use it on some lingerie....but that would probably be more of a gift for your H.
I like these too:
This would be super cute as a beach dress:
Love love love.
Those are pretty, but I'm not comfortable in strapless dresses. I'm always pulling on them.
I usually do get my swimsuits from VS, but I'm set in that department right now. If I don't find something else, I might buy one anyway though. I do like their swimsuits, and miraculously they usually fit me well.
I already have enough lingerie that I hardly ever wear (much to my husband's chagrin).
Maybe I could buy yoga clothes?
I used to feel that way about strapless, too, until I wore a few tops one summer and got used to it. Now I LOVE wearing strapless dresses and tops!
I was wondering if there was an option to buy them all? haha. They always look so good on the models! It's hard to know exactly how the Colorblock dress would look, since she's bent over a little bit, but I thought that might be a good fit for your frame (and won my vote). It seemed to have the most conservative neckline. I also love the solid brown dress wop posted.
I can't see the OP, did you say how much $$ you got? You could use the money to stock up on new underwear. I love their underwear - second skin satin, cotton and lace. All very nice quality. The lingerie is nice, but for me, I just don't wear that stuff anymore. Old married lady. I purchased this winter two pairs of their flannel dreamer pj's and love them! I got one pair first, liked them so much I had to order another pair. That's an option too, if you are set on swim suits, underwear and the like. Also, I love their Christie fit work pant. Very flattering.
