Valentine's Ideas?

Just wondering what everyone is doing for V-Day?  Any big plans?  This is my first married one so hope the hubby doesn't disappoint haha

Re: Valentine's Ideas?

  • Well, the hubs has kind of ignored the holiday in the past, but I told him I want a 'real' Valentines day this year.  However, my birthday is on the 11th so they usually get mushed together.  For my birthday, my mom booked us two nights at our favorite B&B.  I am soooo excited to be able to go away for the weekend.  I'm planning on making DH some cake pops as his gift.  It should be good!

Now I want a cake pop.

We are trying to stay low-budget this year while I finish school. I'm making chocolate covered strawberries, picking up some yummies from Frederick's Pastries and we'll cook some steaks and watch a movie. Later in the month we'll go to Fratello's to avoid the V-Day rush.

  • You can learn all about them HERE.

Essentially, they are cake and frosting mushed together and then dipped in chocolate.  How could it be bad?  The same woman wrote a book, too, which I bought myself as an early b-day gift.

  • Those look soooo good...may make some for my class for a V Day gift instead of normal cupcakes

  • It's my 30th birthday on V-day.....but because they jack the prices on everything....I think DH has something planned for the following weekend.
