I have a question about PCOS. I am supposed to get a blood test to check for it, but my doctor hasn't told me anything about it. I have a needle phobia, so I really want to know what I'm getting myself into if I agree to go (I've never had any type of blood test and don't even know what blood type I am). Did you have a blood test for it, and if you did, could you tell me what it is like? Thanks!
Re: **Crystal**
It's nothing to be afraid of... All they do is draw some blood from you and you go along your marry way. They might also test you on some other things to see if your levels are high.
Why are they doing the testing on you? Do you have some symptoms of PCOS? If you want send me an e-mail.
HTH!
