I'm here now!
Hi ladies. I just wanted to pop in and thank you all for your kind welcoming greetings when I posted a while back that I was moving to Portland. My husband and I drove from the DC area to Portland taking a 2 week road trip to get here. We visited lots of National Parks and friends for the most part and had a blast. We got here about a week ago. We are staying at a friend's house in SW right now while he and his wife are on a 6 week vacation. We are looking for a place to rent short term right now with the intention to buy something after we get settled and get to know the area better. If you have suggestions on a great place to rent, I'd love to hear from you.

I don't have any rental recommendations, but I'm glad you two made it here! That must have been a heck of a road trip. It's great you were able to take your time and enjoy the friends and sights along the way.
