??? For "3 Day Potty" Moms
Ok, I'm a believer. I was skeptical at first but DD is on day 2 and telling me when she needs to go potty. But I have a couple of questions.
1. How did you transition to pants?
2. Was the sleeping/overnight training successful at all? DD seems to be trying the limits of our washing machine with the quantity of laundry she generates while sleeping and she's MISERABLE when she doesn't sleep.
3. How did you transition to daycare? Daycare is 100% onboard with whatever my plan is.
Re: ??? For "3 Day Potty" Moms
1. I just made sure she was in loose pants with an elastic waistband. Haven't had any issues. I think after 3 days they're much more able to "hold" and wait until their pants are down. Although I often still help her.
2. We haven't even attempted overnights. It's not worth it in my book. We finally got this kid to sleep till 7 am and there's no way I want to mess with that. Pull ups it is!
3. Daycare was also 100% on board with us which was awesome. Just tell them to remind her often to let them know. I was amazed that Cassidy transitioned so well. The only accidents she's had was when someone else was already on the potty and she couldn't hold it. Good luck!
1. I still help D pull her pants down, I'm working on her doing it herself, but I think that takes time.
2. ditto amy!! except we went back to diapers and put them up like a pull up. its way cheaper!!
3. no daycare for us
Good luck! I have to say it worked. I stopped doing overnights because DD is now sick with a double ear infection. But she just went down for the night with 1 accident the whole day and it was my fault. (I took her out on day 3 and then didn't put her on the potty AS SOON as we got home and she literally peed 5 minutes after we got home, sorry tmi)
