Hair Stylist Recommendations

Hi Nesties! I'm new to posting on the nest. I spend most of my time on the knot. But I figured who better to ask for this recommendation from. I am looking for a hair stylist either in the city or very near suburbs. I don't have a car so close to public transit is a must. Someone who specializes in shorter cuts would be great. I'd love to keep it under $75 but could be tempted to go as high as $100 for an amazing style.

I got a horrific hair cut last Feb while living out of state (literally it looked like a bad bowl cut) and finally have it grown out enough to try again.  Thank you in advance!!

I adore J.D. at Joseph Michael's in the Gold Coast.  He just cut my hair short with no direction from me and it looks amazing.  He's around $75 or 80.

Hi, just stumbled across this and am so excited to share my stylist. I have been seeing her for probably 5 years!

She is honestly amazing and actually I would argue she specializes in short cuts.  Check her on on yelp as well so you know I am not lying. She's really great though- I promise.  Cuts start at $65 I think. Salon is really cute as well and right across from the merchandise mart.

Welcome!  I go to Jessie at XeX Salon (in the Leo Burnett Building downtown).  She's great!  I think it's $55 for a cut with her.
