special soap for washing all clothes in cold water?
I know they sell special cold water detergent, but is this really necessary?
If so, is there an EF brand I could buy?
In our new apt. water is included in rent, but electricity isn't, so we decided to wash only in cold to save $$.
Re: special soap for washing all clothes in cold water?
I use cold water 99% of the time and never have a problem with Charlie's Soap powder.

Try Celadon Road Products. I switched my son to the laundry detergent (and soap) which is free of harsh chemicals and it has helped with his eczema and chronic dermatitis tremendously! Also safe for septic systems and High Efficiency washers!
They have lime scent, Jasmine, Cedarwood (Great for storing seasonal clothes), lavender (great for jammies and bed linens!) unscented, etc.
