Re: GTKY Monday
1. Coffee or tea? Both!! But i drink decaf. And i really love fruity teas and green tea.
2. Do you watch the news in the morning? If so, what station and why? We watch Pix11, but i kind of zone it out. We primarily just watch for the weather and the train updates.
3. What's your favorite book? It's been a while since i've read it but i remember loving A Prayer for Owen Meany by John Irving. I've been meaning to re-read it but i can't read anything for 'fun' till after school is over...
4. What is/are your hobbies? Knitting and crocheting!!
5. Do you send out handwritten thank you notes and occasions cards, or do you do it online? I'm half and half. If it sneaks up on me, i'll do an e-card (like we just did for a SIL). But i prefer to send cards and *definitely* send thank you cards! My Craft Blog
My Planning Bio
Finally! A Married Bio!!
1. Coffee or tea? Tea (specifically iced tea lemonade)
2. Do you watch the news in the morning? If so, what station and why? When we had cable in our room, I used to watch the first 20 mins of Good Morning America. Now, I will sometimes listen to NPR or 1010 wins.
3. What's your favorite book? I can?t choose just one? The World According to Garp by John Irving and The Fountainhead by Ayn Rand.
4. What is/are your hobbies? I love to read. I love to cook. I also love to research random stuff. I am a weirdo.
5. Do you send out handwritten thank you notes and occasions cards, or do you do it online? I try to send out handwritten thank you notes for most gifts and whenever someone at work does something above and beyond.
I love this book too! John Irving is the best!
1. Coffee or tea? Mostly coffee, but I do like tea once in awhile.
2. Do you watch the news in the morning? If so, what station and why? I used to watch channel 11 news every morning while getting ready for work, but being I don't work at the moment and have an infant to tend to, I don't anymore.
3. What's your favorite book? I'm not really one of those"intellectuals" that has a favorite book by some great author. I read trashy fictions books, so I really don't have a favorite. lol
4. What is/are your hobbies? I really enjoy doing cake decorating, but I don't really have the time these days. Otherwise, the only other hobby I have right now is reading...and I mainly do that when I'm pumping (my only free time for the most part). lol
5. Do you send out handwritten thank you notes and occasions cards, or do you do it online? Handwritten.
1. Coffee or tea? both. coffee every morning, tea (herbal, black, i like 'em all) in the afternoon and evening.
2. Do you watch the news in the morning? If so, what station and why? yep. i've been watching pix11 since i moved to NYC 9 years ago. i started watching it b/c it was the only station i could get on my bedroom tv in those days, and it just stuck.
3. What's your favorite book? here we go! i'm an english teacher, so i could talk books all day! lit-wise, i'm obsessed with margaret atwood books, specifically 'the handmaid's tale.' as for current fiction, i reeeeaaaally liked 'water for elephants.' and with young adult stuff, i love 'the absolutely true diary of a part time indian.'
4. What is/are your hobbies? reading, cycling, lounging at the beach house, photography, cooking, travel. all the basic yupster stuff.
5. Do you send out handwritten thank you notes and occasions cards, or do you do it online? i send out handwritten christmas and birthday cards, but only to people i am very close with. i also believe in handwritten thank you's, but i've been married for years, and we're not having kids, so people really don't get us gifts so much anyway.
