As some of you may recall, I'm an unemployed teacher....my job got cut last Spring.
I sent out a huge batch of applications last week. There are a few jobs really close to where we are now that would be perfect and that I really have my eye on. There are a few others a little further away. I got an email today from the principal at a school wanting me to contact him about a position, I'm assuming for an interview. We are having really bad weather the next day or two, so he suggested calling later this week, which stinks. I hate waiting!
It wouldn't be bad though....IF I got it (which I know is jumping the gun, but it's my first lead this year) DH and I would have to move. DH and I grew up about an hour apart from each other (and about 2 hours from where we currently live), and this job would be about half way between the two towns we grew up in, so we would be closer to our parents. I love where we are now, but at least it looks like I may have some options for this year.
Re: Hate waiting, but good news and needing Nestie vibes!
Best of luck with the job possibility! Sometimes change happens for the best reasons :-)
