Our tech team has launched updates to The Nest today. As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

I saw your post on Xan's thread about Zach still at work tonight. Matt works for Chili's too (he's a GM) and is closing tonight. I am currently making myself ill with worry because he has to drive 45 minutes home. Our weather here is heavy freezing rain and it will turn to snow any time. It makes me angry that they won't close early. Classic example of what's wrong with corporate America. Anyway, just wanted to let you know I'm in the same boat as you tonight.

Thanks! Glad to know I'm not alone. He called around 9:45 and said he was going to run to Walmart on the way home for batteries and milk. Almost an hour later, he comes home with batteries, milk, bottled water, and a jug of Bailey's - can't tell at all that I married an Irishman. When I asked about the Bailey's, he goes "What? We needed provisions!"
I just got called by my boss at my favorite job, and the library is shut down for the next two days, so this librarian is going to turn into an amateur baker for the next 48 hours. Zach, on the other hand, is still heading off to work in 20 minutes. All of Lafayette is closed, Chili's remains open. Morons. So, I get to send my coughing, draining, sick husband out into the cold with cough drops and cold meds until he gets off around 3 ish. I plan to have dinner ready when he gets home so I can send him to bed after.
