Actually, Ice Day!!! is more accurate. We had a pretty decent rain storm last night that turned into a freezing rain/sleet storm when the temperatures dropped. Everything is now covered in a sheet of ice which means North Texas is virtually shut down. I usually laugh at how Texans react to a little snow, but it's not overreacting today. I'd much rather deal with 2 feet of snow then the less then an inch of ice we now have. The upside for being iced-in...I get to spend a whole extra day with the munchkin!
Re: Snow Day!!!
During last year's (first) Nor'Easter in B-more, DH and I were totally pissed that they canceled the symphony that night because we had tickets and we just figured they were overreacting...four hours later we were like yeah, okay, two feet of snow, they're not being wusses.
Yay for time with the munchkin! I had a day off yesterday because of the stomach flu (yuck) and got to play with the little one all day, so much fun!
Ash - I hope we don't go back tomorrow.
I got up at 4:15 (DH gets ups then anyway) to watch the news. I saw DISD was closed and started stalking my work email because when they close....EVERYONE closes! I got the good news at 5:30 and promptly texted my phone tree person and went back to bed. I got up at 10
PCOS and Endo
Ovarian drilling and endo removed 1/3/12

Sono showed no baby and teeny tiny sac. Waiting to M/C naturally.
I have a feeling things will be back to normal tomorrow, or close to it. I have to go into work close to my normal time no matter what it's like tomorrow.
Amelia is going to be a big sister!

Dallas ISD closed for tomorrow. Usually my district does what they do. I'm holding out hope for another day to sleep in.
Funny thing is, Friday is a staff development day which means no school for the students in our district. If we get tomorrow off, they'll only have a 2 day week. Lucky duck's.
However, this is not helping me teach Least common multiple's to my new student. He's so behind, it makes me sad. If he's behind in my class, you know he's really behind.

I was just about to let you know that my mom's school district has already decided to close tomorrow. My sister lives in Keller and her school district is closed as well. I'll probably fight my way in early, get done what I need to get done (maybe an hour's worth of work) and head home.
