Looking for a hotel near 4th Street Live

I am a Cincinnati nestie and some friends and I are coming to Louisville in March and would like to find a hotel near the 4th St Live area, any recommendations are appreciated!

Re: Looking for a hotel near 4th Street Live

  • Not sure what price range you're looking at but there are several nice hotels in that area.

Marriott-Downtown, Seelbach Hotel, 21C, The Brown Hotel, The Galt House, Hampton Inn-Downtown, etc.  I've been to The Galt House and the Hampton Inn.

    Sorry this isn't much help...

  • I think that there is a Holiday Inn or Best Western or something along those lines down there, but mostly you're going to get more expensive hotels (Galt House, Hyatt, etc.)  H and I used Hotwire for our recent trip to Louisville and ended up getting the Galt House for, like, $60 when it's normally $120+ a night.  Plus, we could use the skywalk to get to 4th Street Live, which meant we didn't have to step outside once.  I would really recommend doing that and specifying the Downtown area to get a great deal.

  • The PP's had some good ideas.

We stayed at the Marriott for my bachelorette party and it was pretty nice with a short walk to 4th St. Live and plenty of restaurants.  There are 2 different Marriotts in downtown Louisville (Courtyard and another one--not sure what it's called).  We stayed in the other one (not Courtyard).
