Re: SIL Strange behavior - DD?
Yeah, sorry. Thanks for reading. I left it up for a few hours, saw a lot of 'lookers' but no responses...so I took it down, bc I'm paranoid and if by chance she saw it, I would be in her bad books for life, as I have no doubt she would recognize herself -- and my screen name!
She and I are not close and she tends to keep most people at a distance... case in point, I've been with her bro for four years, and she's not really interested in much more of a relationship then that. That's ok, I get it. I'm the same with with my Bro's current gf.
Anyway, all that to say is that when you are in her tight circle of trust, you generally stay there. Her Mom, bro, and best friend are the most important ppl in the world to her aside from her hubby. So that's why I was so shocked that she basically wrote them all off -- for no reason that I can see. No one has any idea what they did to deserve this.
I know her hubby is not controlling (she is dominant in that relationship, and has been for 10 years) so I wondered about depression or hormonal imbalance... Its perplexing to see her pushing away ALL of close people in her life. FMIL had mentioned to us she didn't think her relationship w/ her daughter will ever be the same. I'm sad for her, and worried. This doesn't seem normal.
