Health & Fitness Wednesday
I honestly shouldn't even start this thread anymore. I'm terribly overweight and currently not doing anything about it. I guess at least i'm honest.
Hope you are all doing better!

Re: Health & Fitness Wednesday
I need to more focus on my eating habits. It's not that I'm eating horribly - I just eat too much! I've only been to the gym a couple times each week these past few weeks....yesterday gym classes were cancelled so I didn't get my kickboxing in.
I too need to focus more on what I am eating, I especially need to not eat anything after dinner..b/c that is where my weight gain is coming from.
I was lazy last week with the snow days and exercising but I did 30DS level 2, and two miles on Sunday, and yesterday I did 6 miles, and today I will prob do 30DS, and 3-4 miles with the extra time
I have actually been doing pretty good the last couple weeks. From 1/21-1/31 I lost 3 lbs. Since I gained a good amount after the wedding, I'm concentrating on getting back to where I was. I've been eating better (focusing on portion control) and making sure to work out at least 5 days a week. Sunday I actually got up and when to the gym for an hour and a half, I was so proud! This snow the past couple days though is not motivating me to get to the gym, but I have at least gone on the treadmill at home for 30 minutes.
I also went out last week and bought the weight watchers scale that tells you your body fat percentage and BMI. I did some research on where I should be and where I am and it's helping me keep things in perspective.
I actually have been very good this week. DH and I started p90x on Monday and have been going strong! We did it last winter, but then got out of it after the wedding. I have also been doing a lot of reading about eating clean and have started to change over our diet so that we are eating clean. This week I made some tasty and very healthy lunches and dinners so I am very excited!
Maybe we could all start sharing healthy recipes too to kick start the healthy eating!
I have been doing horrible too! I hate it!
I get so depressed when I look in the mirror and its even getting to the point that I feel uncomfortable around DH because I feel like I look so disgusting
DH says he wants to help me though and we are both keeping track of what we eat and trying to drink more water, and then one of my girlfriends and I are both working out and keeping each other accountable with that. So hopefully having DH, and my friend, and you ladies to keep me accountable it will help! I think my biggest downfall is the chocolate drawer that we have at work *Sigh* I did stay away from it today though so yay!!!
And I just got finished running on the treadmill. I'm def out of shape from running, I only ran 2.2 miles..in embarrassing amount of time, but at least I went haha. I need to just be patient until I can build my endurance back up!
Because of the storm, I didn't go anywhere today. I went outside to clear off and shovel out my car, but that was it. Until I went outside, scraped off the ice, and drove to the store to buy junk food for H and I to snack on tonight. Awesome.
I had been doing really well with eating healthy, so I just need to get back into that, which can start after my next grocery trip. Also, I really want to start meal planning so I can see that we're eating balanced meals.
I think I need to start participating in this thread more! I got a gym membership last summer and started out strong but haven't been there in a few months. I hate it knowing that I am wasting money and being lazy all at the same time. I think that what I need to just to get a treadmill or something at home since a big issue for me is going out in the cold (I am a wuss). I think I might at least break Wii Fit out again. While that might be baby stuff, it should at least get me up and moving and out of my winter laziness. It's also really important now that I get in shape. I for some reason agreed to let DH plan our first anniversary completely by himself and let him surprise me on what we do/where we go. He just let me know last night that he decided what we are doing and while it's not hiking, it is something that I have to be in shape for.
We are slowly getting better though with what we eat. We fell victim to the whole easy, freezer food thing due to busy schedules and such. For the past couple of months now I'm trying to make a point of making at least a couple "real" meals a week. Dh is currently working on a meal plan for us to try and follow so that we can get some much needed nutrition while avoiding all the bad crap in processed foods.

Yah, one of the reasons I thought to come here was for some support from peers.
I just started the 30 day Shred again, I did it before the wedding and some saw results.
I did day 2 yesterday, so I am just in the beginning phases.
