Police Academy graduation party....ideas please?
My husband will be graduating from police academy in May and I want to have a really great party for him. I want it to be police themed but not over the top or to much like a kids party. I have really just started panning and don't have many ideas so any help will be greatly appreciated! Also it's nearly impossible to find any kind of supplies (invitations, cake ideas, decorations, etc) online so if you know of a site please let me know! TIA
Re: Police Academy graduation party....ideas please?
How about a black & blue party? or Blue red and silver? depending on his colors...
"photo booth" to look like bars, and people can take their pics "behind bars", have some props like hats and handcuffs.
decorate with "police line do not cross" tape
food:
"Heroes"
pigs in a blanket (depending on his sense of humor)
cookies/rice crispie treats cut like badges
doughnuts
cupcakes iced blue, with these as toppers:

I didnt have a Police Academy Gradution party, since i met my husband 2 years into his career, But his 3 year anniversary is coming up and I am also planning a party for his with a Police Theme. We are doing Pigs in a Blanket, Bacon wrapped lil smokies, I am baking cupcakes and i am piping small handcuffs on each one. Decorations I am using Mainly Blue and black. and I have a few of the kids gift bags with badges and whistles and things like that in there. Hope that Helps
Congratulations to your husband.
Black and blue for the Thin Blue Line.
We used black table cloths and silverware with blue cups, plates and napkins.
Invitations I used a picture of his badge and made up my own.
If inviting other LEO's and their families make sure there is plenty of food and beer
